    Many important people who contributed to the development of medicine and public health care services not only in Novosibirsk and Russia but in the world are associated with the Novosibirsk State Medical University. Among those people are world class scientists and specialists whose outstanding skills and knowledge raised the prestige of the Russian medical education and science and made the NSMU famous.
