Novosibirsk

Novosibirsk is one of the biggest cities in Russia and considered the third largest city after Moscow and St.Petersburg and the biggest one behind the Ural. It's situated right in the middle of Russia. The City lies on bouth banks of the Ob river.The day when construction of the new bridge across the Ob river was started is considered to be the day when Novosibirsk was founded.

Clinical Departments

The Novosibirsk State Medical University is closely connected to practical health care. The health education process at NSMU involves engagement of university academic staff and students in providing health care at clinics and medical offices in Novosibirsk. Teaching staff, interns, residents, graduate and postgraduate students assist in operations, examine and treat patients and provide emergency help.

The University has its departments at the largest city and regional hospitals, clinics and health centers of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. In these hospitals the future doctors practice their skills under the supervision of experienced specialists.
