Novosibirsk is one of the biggest cities in Russia and considered the third largest city after Moscow and St.Petersburg and the biggest one behind the Ural. It's situated right in the middle of Russia. The City lies on bouth banks of the Ob river.The day when construction of the new bridge across the Ob river was started is considered to be the day when Novosibirsk was founded.

Hostel

Novosibirsk State Medical University strives to improve the social conditions of students and provide a place in a hostel for all those in need.

Hostels № 9 and № 10 - structural division of the university, located at the address: Novosibirsk, Zalesskogo st., 10 and is designed to accommodate nonresident students, foreign students. The students are allowed to live in a hostel if having vacant place. For visa foreign students a place in a hostel is provided in the first place.

Hostels are of a section type, common area is 13166,2 squared meters. When check-in at the hostel, students get a bed, a bedside table, a chair, a mattress, a pillow and linens. Students can use energy-consuming household devices with agreement of the hostel administration.

The cost for living in a hostel is approximately 1000 rubles per month.
